The highly anticipated Proton SAGA BLM is due this coming January (around the mid of January to be precise). Forums and automotive blogs are full of discussion of this new car and so far the feedback seem to be promising.

I don't know, i am still a sceptic.. should i support proton as it is our national car maker or express my continuous frustrations on proton's quality assurance. Being and nationalist, I too bought my first proton car (when i could actually affort a Toyota or Honda back then), but the car just keep on frustrating me. The design (waja) is beautiful, the engine is smooth but it's the little things (power window, air-cond, door handle, glove compartment handle etc...) that gets under my skin!!!

Well due to NAP and the lack of disposable incomes majority of Malaysians wont be able to afford anything other than Proton car.

My take on this is simple, if you cant afford other carmakes well go for a Proton.

If you can afford something else go for that something else.

Or you coulde go for 2nd hand continental cars like the 02 - 03 Volvo S40 that is about RM 55k right now.

As for myself, I'd go for a V-dub should I have the money.

let's shares together some cash to buy proton saga BLM..each person of 8 SEV colleagues share RM5000. 5 times 8 = RM40,000. The rest of it should be me. And we can use it as a SEV PRIVATE CAR. How genius am I hehe
